Well, we have made the decision to homeschool our 6th grade daughter. I am really excited about the curriculum we have chosen ... Easy Peasy Homeschool I think it is what we need. I don't know if I am going to get a job or not, but she can pretty well guide herself through the curriculum and I can assist when I get home if she needs help.
I think homeschooling can be a great opportunity for some. While others, it is a great detriment. My daughter brought up homeschooling last spring before going to middle school. She ended up deciding to give middle school a chance, but just did not enjoy the variety of students she began to encounter & felt it was time for a change. She is very social and very smart, so i have no worries about her in this upcoming adventure.
It will be interesting to see how we both survive though LOL.
